As part of a 2024 partner marketing initiative, the NC Craft Brewers Guild, in conjunction with the creators of FlavorNC, is debuting a new video series – BrewShots! The BrewShots series spotlights the economic and tourism impact of breweries on towns and destinations in North Carolina. At the heart of the video series is the notion that it all begins with the beer. These promotional BrewShots videos, produced by FlavorNC, are designed to demonstrate the positive intersection of independent breweries within their communities across the state.

The series kicked off this week and the debut video features JoCo's own Deep River Brewing Company. As the video caption says, "Started by Paul and Lynn Auclair, Deep River Brewing Company is a 30bbl, 4-vessel brewhouse located in downtown Clayton, North Carolina. Deep River, known as 'Johnston County’s First Legal Brewery,' strives to make a wide variety of beers while using the highest quality ingredients on the market. Get a closer look at what makes this brewery so special!"

You can view the full video below, embedded from the Guild's YouTube channel.

I spoke just a few years ago to Lynn about how far Deep River has come in the decade since the brewery opened. You can check that blog out here. We're excited that the NC Brewers Guild has selected Deep River to kick off their video series. Deep River has been and remains a hub of activity for the community, a wonderful tourism partner, and a must-see stop along the county's Beer, Wine, & Shine Trail

In addition, Paul and Lynn for the first time since they opened Deep River are working on bringing something new and amazing to downtown Clayton! They have teamed up with the owners of Batista Grading to open Clayton's first arcade + pub + kitchen concept this Spring. There will be a horseshoe-shaped bar with plenty of seating, personal brick oven pizzas with tons of unique toppings, plus classic arcade games such as big buck hunter, skeeball, pinball, racing, and MORE! This new concept will open right off Main Street just down from Deep River. Follow along on their Facebook to stay up to date on when Fare Game will open!
