The Town of Selma will host the 8th Annual Polar Bear Run on Saturday, January 13th at 10:00 AM. The Polar Bear Run is held to support Bailey’s Human Rescue, a local organization on a mission to eradicate the unnecessary overpopulation and euthanasia of domesticated animals. Donations are welcome and appreciated! Immediate needs include dog & cat food, clumping litter, and laundry soap.

Top male and female finishers will be awarded in multiple age groups including children, eight different adult age groups, and pets too. Runners and guests will have the opportunity to grab a bite to eat from a breakfast truck onsite and make a visit to the downtown shops while they “cool” down.

Registration is open now here. Early bird registration will end on January 12th! Participants can still register on the day of the event at an increased rate. As always, pets run for free! Participants that register by January 5th will receive a free event t-shirt and special treat for participating pets. On the day of the race all participants must check-in by 9:45 AM at 201 N Webb Street, Selma.

Make plans to join the Town of Selma and Bailey’s Human Rescue on January 13th to support a great cause!
